Trouble with embedding

This isn't really directed to anyone because I think I'm the only one who is still struggling with this lol. I still can't figure out how to embed video into my blog post. More importantly, my main problem is I would like to post a photo that links up to either a slide show or a website and I can't seem to do it. Any help would be much appreciated!!
