- Blogger video Bar--This gadget allows you to display videos from Youtube.
First, Click "customize" on the top right hand side of your screen. You may then choose to add a gadget. A video bar is among the many options available.
After selecting it, you may change the title. You can have the bar display the most viewed videos on Youtube, recently featured videos, or top rated videos by checking the appropriate box. However, if you want it to display your videos only, you can type your Youtube username into the text box that asks for a "channel." It may take about a day before your video(s) load onto the blog. Another alternative is to type in keywords, and Youtube will supply relevant videos.
Once you have selected your preferred options, click "save."
Clicking customize on the top right hand side of your screen, enables you to either place the video bar on the side column with the history of posts or underneath your blog posts.
- Blogger slideshow--This is a nice feature because Blogger does all the work for you. The pictures will alternate on their own as someone visits the blog, or you can click on it to see a larger version.
Just like for the video bar, click "customize" on the top right hand side of your screen. You may then choose to add a gadget. Choose "slideshow" from the list of options.
First, give it an appropriate title. Then, select which source the pictures will be taken from (Picasa Web albums, Flickr, Photobucket, or other).
After you have done that, you may either choose to input keywords that will supply relevant stock photos or click user to display your own pictures.
Once you have selected your preferred options, click "save."
